It's the day after Christmas, and I awoke with good news. This morning I had an email waiting for me from Stan Swanson at Dark Moon Digest. I have been waiting to hear from some people about some stories I had out there in circulation, and Dark Moon would like to publish two of them. They are not sure where, in their Quarterly print edition, their monthly e-magazine, or one of their special projects that is coming up.
Huzzah for me!
I was kind of hoping to hear form someone else about these stories, Finders Keepers, and It's Not What You Think. I love that Dark Moon wants my stories, but I'd kind of hoped to gain a little wider exposure and get accepted somewhere else as well. Oh well. As one friend of mine already pointed out, i could become a 'regular contributor'. Everything is still a plus!
As far as that LDS Christmas Anthology I had hopes of getting into, I still have those hopes. I have their rewrite done, and all I need to do is proofread the story one more time and send it back to them, which I intend to do tonight. As I was working on the revision I was rereading their comments on the edit sheet. I think they liked the story very much, and they only asked for some very minor revisions, so I remain quite hopeful about this one.
Well, that's about it for now. Talk to you later!
